    • Kenneth Appleget Wyckoff died suddenly on Monday morning at the house of Dr. Walter L. Mason on Riverside avenue. Death resulted from blood poisoning. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at eleven o'clock from the house of Mrs. Bailey of Allen place. The body will be buried in Greenwood cemetery.

      Mr. Wyckoff was born at Cranbury, N. J., January 1st, 1847. After graduating form the Lawrenceville school he went to New York and was employed by the Scoville manufacturing company. Later he became a leather merchant and a member of the firm of Thompson, Wyckoff & Co., with offices in New York and Boston. At the age of thirty Mr. Wyckoff had a stroke of paralysis, which left him helpless until his death. In spite of his affliction he continued in business for two or three years, after which he went to Doylestown, Pa., to live, coming from that place to Red Bank in 1886.

      In 1871 he married Mary Emma Pike of New York, who died in 1895. Mr. Wyckoff leaves three sons, Walter C., Kenneth A., Jr., and George H. Wyckoff. Two brothers , Jacob F. and A. B. Wyckoff, and one sister Mrs. H. V. Desbler, also survive him. He leaves a considerable estate, including a handsome residence property on Maple avenue.
