Nicholas Apelgate's Will In the name of God Amen I Nicholas Applegate of Bordentown in the Township of Chesterfield in the County of Burlington and State of New Jersey being in a weak and low state of health but of perfect sound and disposing mind and memory do make and publish this for my last will and testament

First I do hereby order my executors herein after named to have my body after my decease buried in a Christian and decent manner at their discretion

Second I further direct my executors to pay all my just debts and funeral expenses as soon as can be conveniently done after my decease

Third I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth Applegate all that my house and lot of ground where I now dwell together will all and singular my household goods and all other moveable property belonging or remaining due to me by bond book debt or any ways whatsoever all so

I give and bequeath unto my said wife her heirs and assigns forever and all singular the residue and remainder of my estate both real and personal whatsoever and wherever found after my decease

and lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my brother in law Abraham Thorn and my said wife Elizabeth Applegate executors to this my last will and testament

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen
