I Adolph Applegate, of Charters, Ky, being of sound mind and memory do make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, to-wit:-

First:- That all my just debts be first fully paid.

Second:- I give, devise, and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both personal and real to my beloved wife, Georgia A. Applegate, to have and to hold to her my said wife, so long as she shall remain my widow, and to freely and voluntarily sell or dispose as she shall see fit, so long as she shall as aforesaid remain my widow, and to her heirs and assigns. Shall she so remain until her death, provided that in the event of her marriage again, during her natural lie time, then what ever remainder there may be to be equally divided equally between my daughter Edith, she to receive on half and the two daughters of my oldest daughter Mrs. Blanche Hedleston, namely Audra and Garnett to receive on half, being one fourth to each to the two grand daughters of the remainder of my estate and chattels, should there be any as above stipulated. Now in the event of the marriage or death of my beloved wife, Georgia A. Applegate, I hereby direct that the County Judge who ever that may be at the time of her marriage or death of my wife, shall designate the disposal or deposit of the shares of my two beloved grand daughters, Garnett and Audrey, and that he may choose a place for the safe keeping of same until they both attain the age of 21 years, then delivered to them according to law.

Third:- I hereby nominate and appoint my said wife Georgia A. Applegate to be the Executor without bond of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills made by me.

In witness hereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 13th day of February, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty Six.
