In the name of God. Amen. I Asher Applegate of the Township of East Windsor in the County of Middlesex and State of New Jersey, being in ordinary health of sound mind memory and understanding, do made publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following that is to say,

First it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease,

second I having heretofore given unto my sons Abijah Applegate, Obadiah W. Applegate and Peter M. Applegate and Henry W. Applegate all that I have to give them, therefore I give nothing more.

Third I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Delila Wilson during her natural life all that certain farm contained in the village of Hightstown and late the property of the Rev. Peter Wilson deceased and deeded to me by Allison Ely and William Lind all executors thereof, as will more fully appear by referring to my deed for the same, and after her decease, I give and bequeath the said farm unto her three children to wit, Oliver H. Wilson, Sally Ann Higby and Mary Jobs to them and their heirs and assigns forever, in the following proportions to wit the said Oliver H. Wilson to have one equal half part thereof or two share to the girls one share and the other half part of the said farm to be equally divided between the said Sally Ann Higby and Mary Jobs. I having lent the said Mary Jobs one hundred dollars with legal interest thereon from the first day of April Eighteen hundred and thirty two, and if the yearly interest is not annually paid then interest to be paid on interest until paid. And I do make the said Mary Jobs share or part of the said farm chargeable for the payment of the said sum of one hundred dollars and the interest as aforesaid and further the said Mary Jobs is to pay to the said Sally Ann Higby the sum of one hundred dollars when the said Mary shall heir her part of said farm and I do make her share of the same also chargeable for the payment thereof.

Fourth I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Applegate after my just debts and funeral expenses and charges are duly paid all the remainder and residue of my estate both real and personal to her own proper use and disposal.

In case either of my said daughters Delila's children should die without leaving lawful issue then my will is that the share or shares of such deceased child or children shall go to my other children to be equally divided among them share and share alike

and lastly I do nominate and appoint my three sons to wit, Abijah Applegate, Obadiah Applegate and Peter W. Applegate executors of this my last will and testament renouncing all others In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of June AD 1832.
