Dear Sir

[A]fter my best respects to you I just inform you that we are all well at present hoping these few lines may find you and yours injoying the same Blessing.

[W]e landed here safe on the 3rd day of March after a journey of twenty three days which was attended with much deficulty we landed at Lians [Lines] Pangburns and there we got a passage in Samuel Pangburns boat

[Y]ou request me to write to you concerning the Orleans Market. I can inform you that oats and corn is one Shilling per Bushel pork from one to five dollars per hundred flower from one to two dollars per barrel and from all acounts money appears to bee plenty there but ther has sutch a grait quantity of produce gon this season they have gluted the market. I do expect from the best information that all the traders will be broken Marchants this Season

[A]llso Joseph Amy requests you to send his mare down to him as soon as posible if you can get an oppertunity and if you cannot send her down he wants you to sell her for salt and send it down he will pay the frate he sayes he will take 35 bushels for her and if you cannot get that he will take 30 bus if sent here.

[P]lease to give my complements to all inquiring friends tell Mr Forsithe the axes I got from him is the best. As slick of any in this county this from yours
