Dear Uncle I take this opportunity to let you know we are all well Hoping these lines will find you all well likewise I have not anything particular to write to you more than this - our crops is verry good this year's Brother Jesse & myself is about Building and loading a Boat this fall for the lower country
But the Presidential question is the most interesting at present You have heard no doubt many statements some false ones that I know of. but I will give you a true one that you may depend upon Well sir taking our part of the country on an average as far as I have any knowledge I do assure sir upon the honor of an honest Jackson man that there is at least three for one for old Hickory and perhaps more this much I am morrally certain of so Wishing Jackson and all his friends well I bid you adue at present
